Job Description:
New Product Introduction (NPI) Quality Assurance:
Identify and analyze customer quality requirements during NPI phase.
Establish quality control points to ensure adherence to customer specifications and standards.
Mass Production Quality Yield Improvement:
Lead projects aimed at enhancing mass production quality yield.
Implement strategies to identify and address quality issues to improve overall production output.
Customer Feedback Management:
Handle customer complaints, Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA), and feedback promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer concerns and implement corrective actions.
Product Non-Conformance Resolution:
Investigate and resolve cases of product non-conformance.
Implement corrective and preventive measures to mitigate future occurrences.
Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE):
Manage supplier quality through audits, assessments, and corrective actions.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Participate in supplier selection and evaluation processes to maintain high-quality standards throughout the supply chain.
Develop and maintain supplier quality metrics and performance reports.
Support cross-functional teams in resolving supplier-related quality issues and improving overall supply chain quality.
Quality Data Collection and Reporting:
Gather, analyze, and report product quality data.
Prepare and submit quality reports to relevant stakeholders, including management and customers.
ISO System Implementation and Maintenance:
Lead the application of ISO standards.
Complete all documentation required for ISO certification and compliance.
Implement, maintain, and lead the audit of ISO quality management system.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and requirements.
Process Quality Control:
Monitor and control manufacturing processes to maintain quality standards.
Implement measures to prevent defects and optimize production efficiency.
Requirements
Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical) or related field.
Previous experience in a quality engineering role within the EMS industry.
Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and root cause analysis (RCA).
Proficiency in quality management tools and techniques, such as 8D problem-solving, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Total Quality Management (TQM).
Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO9001 & ISO14001.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to EMS, such as IPC-A-610.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or patterns to drive continuous improvement.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
Positive attitude, maintain a high level of integrity and possess the ability to work independently
